Just Returned from the Border: Insights on the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
Press Release:
March 7, 2024
Today, Chief Ron Vitiello, Republican candidate for U.S. Senate in Virginia, announced that he is withdrawing from the race.
It has been a true honor traveling the Commonwealth over the past months meeting thousands of Virginians who know our country is ready for new ideas and leadership in the U.S. Senate.
This decision comes with careful consideration and a heavy heart. This journey has been filled with passion, dedication, and a strong commitment to our shared values.
I am deeply grateful for our many supporters who got us this far, and I look forward to supporting our Republican nominee and continuing to advocate for secure borders, lowering the cost of living for Virginia families, and protecting our Constitutional rights as Americans.

A note from Ron
After 34 years serving our country as a Border Patrol agent,
I learned that some things are worth fighting for.
I’m not a politician, but I couldn’t stand by as I saw the America I faithfully served be devastated by President Biden and Democrats like Sen.Tim Kaine.
Our country is facing sky-high inflation, attacks on our Constitution, hyper-politicized schools, a collapsing rule of law and the worst border crisis we’ve ever faced.
It’s time to shake up the out-of-touch establishment in Washington D.C.
On day one in the Senate, I’ll bring three decades of experience to address the challenges that matter most to the people of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
I’m proud to call Virginia home and I will never apologize for defending her.
I welcome your prayers and support on my mission to protect your rights, sovereignty, and family as the next Senator of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
